Liverpool International Academy

Home of Liverpool FC

Xavier College is the home of the first Liverpool FC Academy in South Australia and the first school in Adelaide to offer a high-performance soccer school program delivered by LFC International Academy Australia.

Besides the high-performance soccer initiative, the collaboration with Xavier College promises to deliver a plethora of exhilarating opportunities for the community. The College will become the hub for several Liverpool FC International Academy community training sessions and holiday programs. Open to every budding player in the neighbouring areas, these programs offer a chance to experience learning to play ‘The Liverpool Way’. LFC’s commitment remains steadfast in fostering a passion for the sport, and building a thriving soccer community both on and off the pitch.

Skill Development Clinics

A unique school term-based football development program delivered ‘The Liverpool Way’ through a player-centred coaching environment.

Clinics are held once a week after school over 10 weeks. The on-field training sessions under LFC Academy accredited coaches are designed to complement existing club football commitments. Involvement in our Skill Development Clinics affords participants 12 months of exclusive access to world-class, award-winning LFC eAcademy to enable vital dedicated home practice mastering techniques.

LFC Academy training sessions are a true holistic development opportunity that helps players both on and off the pitch and teaches skills that can be used throughout their lives.

Our first program, delivered over 6 weeks, will be held at our Gawler Belt Campus commencing from Week 5, Term 3 2024. This program is fully booked.

Bookings for Term 4, held at the Gawler Belt Campus and Two Wells Campus open now.

Curriculum Integration

Through our partnership with LFCIA, the College is currently preparing to integrate the world-renowned Liverpool FC approach into our own Health and PE Curriculum framework, ensuring our students benefit from the best training methodologies.

Also under development is a program for our senior students, offering the opportunity to become accredited LFCIA coaches, providing them with invaluable skills and qualifications.
