Year 6 Faith Formation Day

Evanston Campus Year 6 students recently spent a reflective and uplifting day at the Gawler Belt Campus for their Faith Formation Day, themed Anchored in Hope.

Guided by the wisdom and leadership of our Year 11 students and Fr Chris, the day began with fun and engaging icebreaker activities that helped set the tone for connection and community. Students were then invited to learn about the inspiring life and legacy of St John Bosco, deepening their understanding of faith, service and hope.

Throughout the day, students took time to reflect on the people, places and things that keep them grounded. They also created personal hope jars, each one filled with their aspirations and dreams for 2025. There was also time to enjoy the natural beauty of the Gawler Belt Campus and reconnect with familiar faces from years gone by.

The day concluded with a powerful and emotional moment, as students received and read heartfelt letters from their parents — messages of love, pride, and encouragement for their final year of Primary School.

It was a day of faith, friendship and inspiration — one that will stay with our Year 6 students as they prepare for the journey ahead.
