On Friday of Week 3, Xavier College Two Wells sent their inaugural boys’ football team to Balaklava to compete in knockout football. Comprising of Year 7 and 8 students, the team took on Balaklava in their first ever match.
Despite their best efforts, the team faced challenges with the expansive oval and were ultimately overrun in the final quarter, losing by 16 points. The final score was:
