Show Your Sporting Colours Day

On Monday Week 4, the Evanston Campus hosted a Show Your Sporting Colours Fundraiser to support Catholic Mission. The campus came alive with a vibrant display of guernseys, scarves, beanies, and colours as students proudly participated in this meaningful event.

Catholic Mission, the international agency of the Catholic Church in Australia, works both locally and globally to fulfill the call to love God and our neighbours. The organisation is dedicated to serving those in need, advocating for justice, and developing community-based programs across Australia and around the world.

In the afternoon, Year 6 students and teachers were privileged to hear from guest speaker Tony Johnston, Director of Catholic Missions in Adelaide. Mr Johnston provided valuable insights into the impact of Catholic Mission’s work and explained how our contributions directly support children and families living in poverty. The Year 6 students will continue their involvement with Catholic Mission through participation in Socktober later this year.

As a community, let’s continue to deepen our understanding and make a positive difference in the lives of others through our outreach initiatives.
