From Week 6 to Week 8 of Term 3, the entire school participated in the ‘Rev Up Your Reading Challenge,’ with the ambitious goal of reading 1.5 million words within three weeks. Students across all year levels embraced the challenge enthusiastically, reading to contribute to this collective target. By the end of the challenge, the school had far surpassed expectations, reading over 6 million words in total! 

Scholastic generously awarded the school with book prizes, and individual students in each class who read the most words were also recognised with special awards. Congratulations to all students for their impressive efforts, with particular recognition for Mrs Shubert’s class, who collectively read the highest number of words. In celebration of their achievement, they enjoyed a well-deserved pizza lunch.
