Peaceful Classrooms at Evanston

Mindfulness of the senses involves focusing on the present moment through our senses of sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell. It’s a simple practice that helps reduce stress, enhance concentration, and boost overall well-being.

This week, our Year 3 students had the wonderful opportunity to practice Mindfulness of the Senses outdoors during their lesson. They took time to fully experience their surroundings, from the sound of birds singing to the feel of a soft breeze. Encourage your child to take a few minutes each day to practice mindfulness and enjoy the benefits it brings!
