Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Catholic Education SA Graduation

Catholic Education South Australia (CESA) welcomed three Xavier College students to their 2024 Year 12 Graduation, honoring the achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who have successfully completed their schooling within the Catholic education system. The ceremony served as a poignant reminder of the contributions and resilience of these students, with this year’s graduates including Chloe, Angel, and Ebony.

The event featured a heartfelt presentation where each student received a certificate of completion from Dr. Neil McGoran, Executive Director of Catholic Education South Australia. In a special touch, the graduates were also gifted artwork by renowned artist Dave Booth, symbolising their unique journeys and cultural heritage.

The celebration not only marked the end of their schooling journey but also emphasised the importance of supporting First Nations students in their educational pursuits. This year’s graduation ceremony was a testament to the hard work and dedication of these remarkable students and the supportive community surrounding them. Congratulations to Chloe, Angel, and Ebony on this significant achievement!
