Volunteering

Parents/caregivers and community members volunteer at the College in varying capacities, and we greatly appreciate their time. Volunteering might include attending excursions, providing assistance to our Pedal Prix team, or reading story books to our younger students.

How to get involved

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Xavier College. Please complete the required training, reading, and forms listed below.

Volunteer Requirements

Read the CESA Induction Booklet for Volunteers.

Apply for a Working with Children Check online. It is important to note that because Xavier College is a Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide site, both a WWCC and a Catholic Police Check are required. A Catholic Police Check will be organised by the College upon receipt of your WWCC.

Complete the Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care (RRHAN-EC) volunteer training.

Complete and sign the CESA Volunteer Declaration and the CESA Volunteer Application Package.
