Welcome to Our College
Welcome to Xavier College. We are a Catholic co-educational College catering to all students from Reception through to Year 12. Xavier College has three campuses north of Adelaide; Evanston Campus (R-6), Gawler Belt Campus (7-12), and Two Wells Campus (R-10).
It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to our community.
Since opening in 1995 we have been educating in the Salesian Tradition. The Salesians are a congregation of the Catholic Church that have been involved in teaching and youth work in every part of the world for over 150 years. Through this Salesian Tradition, we are inspired by the work of Saint John Bosco and strive to be a community committed to the holistic development of each student in an atmosphere of reasonableness and kindness. The Salesians pass onto the College their ethos and rich tradition regarding the education of young people.
The College values shape a learning environment which is relational and fosters the joyful celebration of the unique gifts and talents of every student. Within our community of faith every student is encouraged to enhance their understanding of the world in which they live and seek to meaningfully contribute to the betterment of society. Students are supported to be the best person they can be.
We are a school within Catholic Education SA (CESA) and therefore implement the Living Learning Leading Framework and Standards that make up the CESA Learning Experience, aiming to nurture thriving people, capable learners and leaders for the world God desires.
