Design and Technology
Creative problem solvers equipped to build a better future.
Design and Technology encourages students to think critically, analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions. It equips students with a diverse skill set to learn about sustainable technological choices that can contribute to a better future.
The subject is offered in varying intensities from Reception to Year 12. Foundational skills are built upon as students broaden their knowledge through electives in their senior years, becoming creative thinkers who can apply their skills to a range of future opportunities.
Design and Technology helps students work in a collaborative environment utilising a range of learning resources to design, build and perform tasks that would otherwise be difficult to do without access to technological tools.
Students learn skills for life with the opportunity to apply practical knowledge in areas such as welding and carpentry. Our purpose-built workshop allows students to explore the full extent of their interests.
